Well, I guess 2013 was a horrible year but there was also some good parts to it. My Grandpa passed away, so did one of my cats and my beloved pony, Emma. But I've been yacht racing, won a whole racing series too! Been working on the safety boats, at a powerboat specialist and taking part in a few regattas. Met so many people over the summer and had a great time. I bought Jack the most useful thing ever, a treat ball. He loves it! It also keeps him busy for most of the day. Also learnt who my real friends are (which is always a pro), decided I wont put up with peoples crap any more. I have been offshore again this year, on T.S John Jerwood
Also been to Swynnerton camp and learnt that cooking is not my kind of thing.
I now have a lot of things planned for next year
Off to Germany in February, on a coach. Were heading to Munich for 2 days and then Stuttgart for another 2 days and then back up to Wales. Racing season starts again in March
Will be competing in the ISORA series on a yacht called 'Sgrech', the same one I crewed on this year. The name 'Sgrech' comes from 'Sgrech y Mor', which is 'Jaybird'. 'Predator', one of the competitors in the Pwllheli Challenge Series didn't have such a good day towards the final races as they had
lost their spinnaker pole in the strong winds. We had a front row seat for that!
Also planning another offshore trip with cadets and I'm going to Liverpool John Moores University to study marine engineering! So things are looking up this year, that's for sure.
